Elderberry Whiskey Sour

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz. Whiskey

  • 1 oz. Elderberry Tonic

  • 1 oz. lemon juice

  • 1 egg white (if you’re nervous about eating raw egg white, just make sure you wash the outside of the egg before you use it)

  • Lemon slice and sugar for garnish

Technique:

  • Dry shake (this means DO NOT add ice to the shaker, this helps incorporate the egg white better) all the ingredients until nice and frothy

  • Once combined, add ice and shake for another 10 seconds

  • Carmelize sugar on a lemon slice with a blowtorch

  • Pour drink into a glass with a giant ice cube and garnish with the lemon
